Samir H. Bhatt has experience in both traditional and alternative investing, making him a valuable contributor, trusted advisor, and acknowledged leader. On behalf of a broad range of customers and organizations, he has spent the last 25 years managing the complexity of multi-million and multi-billion dollar engagements. Before founding SHB Advisors in early 2013, where he currently serves as the Founder and Managing Director, Samir began his career as an analyst at JP Morgan and Accenture. He then advanced through executive leadership and senior-level roles with Credit Suisse, Highbridge Capital Management, and Markit Group. He has established himself as an industry leader with a dedication to client partnerships, strategic growth, and operational excellence since entering the field of global finance and investments.
Samir has achieved considerable success for SHB and its clients by focusing on company expansion over the past eight years. He has done this by attending to the financial demands of a diverse worldwide portfolio of clients and institutions looking for assistance with investment and commodity trading.
From 2009 until 2014, Samir H. Bhatt served on the board of the National Chorale, a New York-based non-profit music ensemble. He has served as a board member at 1801 Foxhall since 2019.
Samir attended Cornell University, where he earned a general management MBA and a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He currently possesses the Series 65 Investment Advisor and Series 3 Commodity Trading Advisor licenses.
